Daniel is the CEO of UI Charitable Advisors, a leading philanthropic planning and advisory firm.
The team at UI Charitable partners with financial advisors to offer clients financial tools that align portfolio objectives with their philanthropic goals.
Previously, he was the CEO and co-founder of EcoScraps which was acquired by Scott’s Miracle-Gro (NYSE: SMG) where he was a Director for their sustainability and hydroponic business unit.
Additionally, he has led sustainability initiatives for the US State Department, United Nations World Food Programme, Amazon, Google, Home Depot, Walmart, and some of the world’s largest food companies.
Daniel has been named as one of the top Social Impact Entrepreneurs in the USA by Bloomberg Businessweek and has been featured as the cover story in both Inc. Magazine and Forbes.
Daniel studied English at BYU where he currently serves as an adjunct professor and is on the board of advisors for the Ballard Center for Social Impact.
